Network Solutions
CAT-6/6A Cabling & Communication Design Room
Critical to the functionality of your new building is the design of the cable infrastructure to
allow for the use and expansion of all types of technology without infringing on the visual
appeal of the architecture. CommTech Design evaluates the building layout and the variety
of communications and technology needs and then provides detailed drawings that specify
the location of communication rooms, details regarding cable pathways and cable
specifications, faceplates, and communication room equipment recommendations. Our goal
is to provide flexibility while not over cabling.
Fiber Optic & Copper Cable Backbones
CommTech Design creates the framework for your communications infrastructure, whether
your project is one building or an entire campus, with your root needs in mind and the most
advanced technology available for your budget. We have experience creating a fiber
optic or copper cable backbone with the capacity to transmit data, telephone, audio, video,
and security signals consistent with your current and anticipated needs. We understand
the technical as well as architectural challenges involved in establishing this critical nerve
center.
Wired & Wireless Data Networks
Connecting all of your data throughout your building or campus requires the strategic
deployment of both a wired network and a wirelessnetwork. CommTech Design can help you
determine how to capture best the functionalityof both a wired and wireless network and
harness the most power for your end users. As technology evolves, your network should be
flexible enough to engage the new functionality while still maintaining your security and
speed. Included in our evaluation of your needs can be a specific review for placement of a
distributed antenna system, allowing for the delivery of wireless signals throughout a building
to support pagers, radios, cell phones, and wireless networks.
Data Center Design
CommTech Design believes that thoughtful planning regarding the design of the data center
will pay dividends for years as communication and technology needs continue to grow for
the organization. A well-planned data center will centralize the cabling and data pathways
into one facility, where all servers reside. Structuring the data center to house the
communications and technology hub for the entire building or campus requires advance
planning and the development of a cohesive plan that will incorporate all facets of
engineering the building and the networks housed there.
